Process & Treatment Time
Physiotherapy with Time and Structure
At my practice, all physiotherapy sessions are scheduled for a full 60 minutes. This allows ample time for a thorough assessment, a customized treatment plan, and personalized guidance tailored to your needs. This ensures we can focus directly on your concerns to achieve lasting results—without the rush and with my full attention dedicated to your health.
What is physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy combines active and passive techniques to restore, maintain, and promote physical function. It is based on established medical guidelines and is personally tailored to meet each patient’s specific needs and recovery goals.
What conditions do you treat?
I treat functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system, including back and joint pain, muscular imbalances, and mobility restrictions, as well as recovery following surgery, injury, or neurological conditions.
What does a typical session look like?
After a thorough initial assessment, we select the most effective approach for you. This includes manual techniques, active exercises, and practical advice for your daily routine. Every treatment is evidence-based, structured, and focused on your specific goals.
How long is each treatment session?
Sessions at this practice are intentionally set at 60 minutes. This extended timeframe allows for a structured assessment, a personalized treatment plan, and dedicated therapeutic guidance—all without the rush, ensuring the highest quality of care.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
Private patients and self-payers can receive treatment without a referral. However, please note that private insurance companies typically do not reimburse costs without a prescription. A prior medical consultation is always recommended.
How many sessions will I typically need?
The number of sessions depends on your diagnosis, therapy goals, and personal progress. Physiotherapy is often prescribed in blocks (e.g., 10 units) and can be adjusted as needed.
Who covers the costs?
Coverage depends on your insurance status. Private patients will receive an invoice based on the official fee schedule for healthcare professions (GebüTh). For self-paying clients, I provide a transparent quote before we begin treatment.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring your doctor's referral (if available), any relevant medical documents (e.g., test results or surgical reports), and comfortable clothing. I also recommend bringing a towel for the treatment table.
Can I book or reschedule appointments flexibly?
Yes, scheduling is handled digitally and allows flexible booking and modification options. Please observe the applicable cancellation period (24 hours prior to the appointment) to avoid cancellation fees. In addition, you can also reach me by phone, WhatsApp, or email.
