Kinesio Taping
What is
Kinesio Taping
Kinesio Taping is a therapeutic method in which elastic, skin-friendly tapes are specifically applied to muscles, joints, or the lymphatic system. The goal is to support the body's natural functions—without restricting freedom of movement.
Due to the specialized elasticity of the tape, the skin is gently lifted. This helps regulate pressure within the tissue, improve microcirculation, and reduce pain stimuli.
At my private physiotherapy practice in Munich, Kinesio Taping is individually customized and frequently used as a supplement to physical therapy or manual therapy.
Key benefits of
Kinesio Taping
Kinesio Taping supports muscles and joints during physical strain without immobilizing them. This preserves natural movement while simultaneously providing stability and relief.

Kinesio Taping is frequently used as a supplementary measure within the scope of physiotherapeutic therapy.
Kinesio Taping is a physiotherapeutic technique that uses elastic tapes to support muscles, joints, and the lymphatic system.
The goal is to provide stability while maintaining full freedom of movement, along with pain relief and the promotion of circulation and regeneration.
Typically, the tape remains on the skin for three to five days. It is water-resistant and suitable for everyday activities.
